7 new posts today!

We updated our blog with 7 new posts today, make sure to start at the bottom of this page with Nicole & Reginald!

Lesley + Travis

Our square pocket fold invitations are popular! :-)

Lesley and Travis' wedding colors are all my favorite neutrals: copper, khaki, and ivory. The pocket was a copper metallic pocket fold, the backing khaki and the invitation layer and inserts an ivory linen card stock.

We incorporated both a monogram and swirl design throughout the set.

Denise + Justin

I worked with Denise and Justin on their STD in May and now had a chance to design their wedding invitations.

We used the same swirl, fonts, and colors from the STD and added a monogram to the square pocket fold. I convinced them to be bold with an orange metallic pocket and it couldn't have turned out better. We also made the inserts alternate between white and light pink card stock to incorporate even more of their colors.

We'll be posting their wedding stationery soon!

Kellen + EJ

I love flat card invitations because so many people underestimate how gorgeous they can be. Kellen & EJ wanted a simple swirl design in purple on a metallic gold card stock.

This is one of my favorite invitation sets!

Their wedding stationery is in the works, so check back for pictures!

Laura + Mario

Laura's wedding colors were black, white and royal blue and she immediately mentioned the veritco pocket fold style in black. I like a girl who knows what she wants! The backing was a royal blue card stock and the invitation layer and inserts were a white linen card stock.

We came up with a monogram for her and incorporated it in the invitation, program, and table numbers.

The program was a double sided paddle fan which used the same royal blue card stock as the invitation for the middle layer and white linen for the printed layers. We added a royal blue silk ribbon for the final touch!

Michelle + Matthew

I love beach weddings!

Michelle and Matthew are getting married in Delaware and they wanted a wave and sun theme for their flat card invitations. The backing is a smooth navy card stock and the invitation layer and inserts are white linen.

We're currently designing their wedding stationery, stay tuned!

Anna + Mark

Anna & Mark wanted to incorporate their colors (black, silver, and fuchsia) with a monogram and swirl graphics and a square pocket fold. I love what we came up with together!

Nicole + Reginald

Nikki contacted me with her budget and colors and let me have fun with the design. The backing is a sparkly metallic black card stock while the invitation layer and inserts are white linen.

This is the perfect invitation set to show just how great flat cards can be.

Two exciting announcements!

Our first big announcement is that Jeff and I are expecting baby #1, due 12.22.09! We're so very excited!

Ava's birth announcements

I've wanted to expand my offerings for quite some time and Caitlin Domanico gave me that chance when she came to me for her daughter Ava's birth announcements.

She wanted to match the style to Ava's nursery bedding and in order to get the most out of her gorgeous photography (as well as photographs by www.efphotographs.com and www.yourmomentscaught.com!) we made the announcement into a 5x5 trifold card.

I am so in love with this announcement and Ava herself!

Janos + Sarah - 7.4.2009

Our friends Janos and Sarah are getting married this Fourth of July. They have the beautiful and bold color palette of fuchsia, orange, yellow and ivory. She wanted just a splash of color in the invitations so she picked an ivory pocket with a lovely texture.

The invitation and tag were backed by fuchsia card stock, the writing was a mixture of black and fuchsia, and a golden yellow ribbon completed the look.

We also took their monogram and made a set of Thank You notes for Janos and Sarah. They'll continue to use cards like these for notes they will write after they are married.

We are so very happy for you two and can't wait to celebrate with you! :-D

Tamika + Mark's Wedding Programs

Tamika contacted me for wedding programs after receiving her wedding invitations. We used a bolder metallic pink card stock for the cover and sage for the pages and ribbon on the side. We continued with the same fonts and monogram. Beautiful colors!

Michelle's Bridal Showers

Erin is one of Michelle's bridesmaids and she came to me for two very different bridal shower invites. One with a blue bird and one with an Art Nouveau design. These were so much fun to work on!

Nick + Vanessa - Save the Dates

This is the first of many posts this week. Things have been going very well for us and we haven't been able to keep up with the blog, we're sorry!

Vanessa and Nick are having a New Year's Eve wedding this winter and they had a unique idea for their save the dates. They made a dvd with the help of their photographer that included a video of them at the shore with some gorgeous pictures thrown in. All the necessary save the date information was included at the end.

So we started with designing their logo that they will use on all their stationery. The dvds will be mailed in a black metallic petal enclosure and sealed with their logo on a sticker.

It's the perfect start to their wedding!

Denise + Justin: Save the Date

Denise and Justin are an extremely fun couple and they wanted to show that in their wedding stationery.

To start out, their save the dates took on the form of a postcard. Denise showed me a picture of a save the date she loves so we took the same idea and made it theirs.

Check it out!

Jessica and Geoffrey: menus + programs

I posted Jess and Geoff's invitations in February, you can refresh your memory by clicking here. I had the chance to put together their menus and programs to match their invitations. Jess decided she wanted a cream colored, metallic card stock and to keep things simple with a flat card, 5.5x8.5 layout for both pieces.

We kept the corner designs, fonts, and colors. They look great and will add just the right touch to their ceremony and reception this coming Saturday, April 4th.

Jeff and I wish you all the happiness in the world! Congrats!
